Welcome to Vital Insights Into Precambrian (VIP Amazonia)'s website!

The project "How were mountain ranges formed in Amazonia 2 billion years ago, and how were they related to a single large landmass?" seeks to uncover the origins of the Amazonian mountain formations in the Precambrian Eon. Coordinated by Professor Mayara Fraeda Barbosa Teixeira from the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam), the study was approved in the seventh public call of the Serrapilheira Institute.
