Sirlan Carmo: Geologist and master’s student in geology at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), Brazil. I am studying the genesis and evolution of the Calimian volcano- plutonism of the southeastern region of the Amazonas State, southern Brazilian Amazon. The objective of my research is to investigate the calimian A-type magmatism and its evolutionary implications in the eastern part of the Rondônia-Juruena Province, southern Amazonas Craton, through petrographic, geochemical, geochronological, isotopic, geophysical, and tectonic studies of this region.

Maely de Carvalho Dias: Geologist and master's student at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), my research is situated in the field of applied geophysics, focusing on the aeromagnetic-structural and gravity mapping of the southeastern region of Amazonas, specifically in the SB.20-Z Purus- SE sheet. The work aims to identify and characterize the geometries and depths of the magnetic and gravimetric sources and investigate the complex contact relationships between these sources. By combining aeromagnetic and gravity data, the research seeks to understand the geological framework and the structural controls influencing the tectonic evolution of this region. The study has the potential to contribute to geodynamics and provide new information about the area, which has been relatively underexplored.
