Petrogenesis and Geotectonics of the Paleo-Mesoproterozoic volcano-plutonic magmatism of the Rondonia-Juruena Province, southwest of the Amazonian Craton: Implications for the Paleotectonic Reconstruction of Supercontinents: Lithogeochemical and radiogenic isotope data from volcano-plutonism from the Rondonia-Juruena Province will be used to understand the magmatism in the western region of the Amazonian Craton and thus to advance in the discussions about the nature of the sources responsible for the origin of the magmas that form these rocks. The integration of new field, geochemical, isotopic, and geochronological data should also allow a better interpretation of the origin of these rocks and define whether the magmatism occurred within a continental magmatic arc or bimodal magmatism generated in an intraplate extensional environment.
